A2 Music Video

In order for us to communicate with each other and make plans. We have mad a group chat on Facebook messenger, we will use this to discuss when we are going to film and arrange other plans. This will ensure that our planning is more effective and all members of our group are aware of what is going on. We have also created 2 other group chats: 1 with all of our band members and 1 with our actor Alex. this again will ensure effective planning so everyone is aware of what is going on.

Here is our final version of our preliminary task

Over the pas few lessons as a group we have been creating storyboards for our preliminary task so that when we come to filming it, it would be easier too figure out which shots we need to film for each part of the video.

For our preliminary task, we were asked to create a music video to a song that the class had decided to use. As a class we decided on the song 'Tick Tok' by Kesha. We didn't have long to film this preliminary task, so therefore we needed to ensure that our organisation skills were good. This music video was due in on the last week of the summer holidays, we struggled as a group to all be here at the same time due to trips and other events happening within school. This put a strain on our group, meaning that we needed to work effectively and efficiently, to ensure that we met the deadline. We decided to printout the lyrics to Kesha's song so that we could analyse them and decide which part were going to be performance and which parts were going to be narrative.
